Annette Eikland
Annette Eikland is our Cultural Education Manager at Da Kų Cultural Centre Dakwäkäda. She is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of cultural and community programs, projects, exhibits and developing funding proposals and applications for cultural programming. Annette was born and raised in the Yukon and grew up in Beaver Creek. Her ancestry is Kaska, Upper Tanana, German, Norwegian and Hungarian.
In her previous experience Annette has worked in the Wellness field for over twelve years; supporting individuals in various aspects. Annette has ventured on a new path in the Cultural preservation field as she strongly values the importance of Indigenous language, scared cultural teachings and the importance of passing these teachings on to future generations.
