Shelby Jackson

Shelby is the Retail, Events & Marketing Coordinator here at Da Ku. It will be 2 years in July when she first started this position. She has 6 years of hospitality experience working in different hotels, in different cities such as Grande Prairie (AB), Vancouver (BC), Calgary (AB). In her time away she earned her Hospitality Management Diploma. Shelby has enjoyed working in the hospitality industry and meeting new people which has prepared her for working in a service provision role at Da Ku Cultural Centre. She loves working at DKCC and being back in her traditional territory after leaving for several years.
In her spare time She does traditional beading (earrings, moccasins, necklaces, etc.) and she has her own Instagram page promoting her arts.
